Hey all!

Sorry I haven't updated my gallery or even my journal in a long time. A lot has been going on in preparation for college! Also, I have been working very hard on my own original art and my own original story, so I haven't had a lot of Zutara art in my sketch pad as of late. So! Let's get to the updates...


~ YES! I did see the AVATAR FINALE. And let me tell you, shipping aside, it was a GREAT episode! The Zuko/Azulo agni kai made me want to cry! It was so dramatic and the music accompaniment was perfectly written to the mood. That was my favorite scene, I think, mixed along with furious, deus ex machina Aang. Honestly, if they had cut off the last five minutes with the last minute hookups in shipping, I would have been perfectly happy. Alas, we Zutarians are Bryke's red-headed stepchild and they made sure we knew our place! 8'D LOL. Aside from this however, the finale really did not function well, storywise, as a finale. Too many loose ends were left hanging... I mean, c'mon, the biggest one being Azula... she went crazy and was chained, what happened next? Obviously not jail because she still has her bending. I hate how we are left to assume her fate. Other than the not to epic storytelling, I'm just thankful for the lack of an epilogue. For all we know, Katkat could have kissed Aang, given him a hug and went back to Zuko. ;'] I'm kidding... or am I?

~ I just watched the most epic movie ever, SAAWARIYA. I had been recommended it by a new friend I found at my college orientation so I went out and rented that sucker... oh man. As much as the ending threw me off, the movie was EPIC. The cinematography and the sets and costumes! Not to mention the music! I downloaded the entire soundtrack and have been listening to it nonstop! If you are interested or into great Bollywood movies, this has to be on your list. I loved it~! (It's also funny to mention that, I, being the palest of pale and completely without a doubt white - even my slight Asian-flair can't save me! - am incredibly horrible at trying to mimc the dancing of the ladies of the night in Chhabeela... Le sad.)

~ I've been focusing on more original artworks as I mentioned earlier! I have decided to make this my account for fan works only and will be moving my original stuff and be posting all new original works to from now on! Stay tuned here, however, for a major flood of Zutara art in the near future! My focus will switch back and I'll never desert my loverly fandom! Don't worry!
